EVENT RESCHEDULED DUE TO ASEAN SUMMIT 2025

Hotel association announces adjustment to expo date amidst accessibility concerns

KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) has announced a date adjustment for the Hospitality Suppliers Expo, one of the flagship events of MAH Hospitality Week 2025. Originally scheduled for 27–28 May, the Expo will now take place on 28–29 May 2025 at Vivatel Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The decision comes in light of the Malaysian government's announcement of significant road closures and traffic diversions throughout the Klang Valley from 23 to 28 May 2025 due to Malaysia hosting the 46th ASEAN Summit at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). These closures are expected to impact traffic flow even outside the immediate summit area.

To ensure smooth accessibility, participant safety, and overall event quality, MAH made the strategic decision to shift the Expo by one day.
