What are the benefits of becoming a member of MAH?
MAH provides an umbrella to its members to stand bounded in enhancing the growth of the industry;
MAH provides strength for hoteliers through its recognition by the private and public sectors both locally and internationally;
MAH would represent member hotels in dealing with the Government and public sectors in matters related to the industry. MAH is represented in various Government dialogues, forums, and advisory panels;
MAH would support related and beneficial projects and events organized by the Government;
MAH would represent member hotels in dealing with Public Performance and Music Lincensing Bodies in matters related to special rates on collection of royalties.
MAH would undertake to work with the Government, private sectors and other NGOs on projects, activities, and issues that will bring benefits and enhancements to the growth of the hotel industry;
MAH would uphold the dignity of the hotel industry as a contributor to tourism in Malaysia;
MAH would undertake to organize relevant training program for the industry due to the fast personnel mobility and the rising standard of services in meeting the demand of the public. MAH will be sensitive to the changing needs and provides appropriate training at various levels to the members;
MAH would be in constant contact with international bodies and therefore able to provide or transfer relevant information to the member hotels. MAH will maintain a library of publication from all over the world for such purposes;
MAH will be maintaining a website that will provide an opportunity for member hotels to secure information of local and international events, issues and happenings in the industry. Also an opportunity for members’ publicity and access of information to the public.
MAH will undertake to make periodic releases of MAH news and updates as well as other industry related circulars to members.
MAH will provide an opportunity for members involvement through various sub-committees: HR, IR, Security, Special Projects, PR, Finance, Environment, which represent various functions related to hospitality industry.
MAH will work with Government and NGOs to provide expertise in bidding for international events, which will enhance the industry room occupancy.
Opportunities to participate in international hoteo industry exhibitions / expos and enjoy special rates on conferences / seminars.
Receive special discounts to advertise in MAH Website, Newsletters and other maagzines in collaboration with MAH.
MAH will maintain its official relationship with international organizations such as ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA), International Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHRA), Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT), Internatinal Tourism Borse (ITB), and World Travel Mart (WTM) on behalf of member hotels.
MAH would continue to represent hotels in bringing to light issues, suggestions, and proposals to the authorities, that would help the industry.
MAH would work with the media to ensure that the industry secures full visibility of its role, activities, and deeds.
