MAH 50th Anniversary Fun Run Concludes

“A Memorable Grand Finish For A Golden Year!”

Selangor – MAH 50th Anniversary Run concluded with resounding success on Sunday, 1st December 2024, marking a fitting finale to the Malaysian Association of Hotels’ (MAH) year-long golden anniversary celebrations. Held at the scenic Tasik Villa International Resort, Port Dickson, the event attracted a crowd of enthusiastic runners, 400 people strong competing across four categories.

 

The Fun Run was designed not only to commemorate MAH’s five decades of advocacy but also to foster connections among members, raise awareness of the association’s role to the general public and promote healthy living.

MAH extends its deepest gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and supporters who made this event a tremendous success. Your energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit brought this milestone celebration to life.

 

Special gratitude goes to En. Haziz Hassan, Organising Chairman of MAH 50th Anniversary Run and Chairman of MAH Negeri Sembilan Chapter, for his instrumental role in ensuring the event’s success. A heartfelt thank you to the event’s Guest of Honour, YB Nicole Tan Lee Koon, Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council (EXCO) and Chairman of the Negeri Sembilan Tourism, Arts, and Culture Committee, for gracing us with her presence and support.

Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) is the umbrella body for hotels in Malaysia formed in 1974 and initially established by a group of concerned and dedicated hoteliers to bring about a more dynamic hospitality industry aimed at building a workforce of highly skilled, innovative and disciplined individuals. Its long-term goal was to enhance the efficiency of the hospitality industry, thus, bringing about a more dynamic Malaysian hospitality industry. MAHTEC Sdn Bhd commenced its fiscal year in 1998 to profile MAH as a human resource development provider and to upgrade the skills and knowledge of staff-in-service in the industry. MAHTEC is the training arm of the Association specializing in developing quality human resources in the hospitality industry. Highly specialized in the areas of Hospitality Skills Training and Managerial Development Training, all programs are facilitated by experienced and qualified Trainers through workshops and practical session.
