MAH KL Chapter visit to the Langkawi Tourism Academy

October 2023 – MAH KL Chapter secretariat headed by its Chapter Chairman Mr Lim
Boon Eow visited the Langkawi Tourism Academy (LTA). Accompanied by MAH Vice
President, Ms Shirley Lai, the entourage was treated to a tour of the campus
comprehensive hospitality facilities. The visit primarily revolved around
discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation and collaboration between
academia and the industry, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the sector’s
health.
The
group was welcomed by the Director of LTA, Pn Haslinda binti Abd Hamid, The
Deputy Director (Academic) Pn Norazlina binti Mohd Mizuan and several other LTA
officers.
About the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH)
Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) is the umbrella body for hotels in Malaysia formed in 1974 and initially established by a group of concerned and dedicated hoteliers to bring about a more dynamic hospitality industry aimed at building a workforce of highly skilled, innovative and disciplined individuals. Its long-term goal was to enhance the efficiency of the hospitality industry, thus, bringing about a more dynamic Malaysian hospitality industry.
