MAH at the 9th China Hospitality Brand Value Summit 2025

𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 (𝗠𝗔𝗛) has recently participated in the prestigious 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, held at the Suzhou Taihu Marriott Hotel.

Invited by the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗛𝗟𝗔) as a gesture of reciprocity for their visit to Malaysia last July, MAH Board spent two productive days engaging in high-level dialogues and networking sessions to strengthen bilateral ties between our hospitality sectors.

One of the key highlights of the summit was the participation of MAH President Datin Christina Toh who served as a panelist for the roundtable "𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀," a session that specifically discussed the impact Chinese hotel brands had on the Malaysian market.

Additionally, 𝗠𝗔𝗛 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 also took part in the International Tourism & Hospitality Business and Investment Exchange Session where they inform international delegates about Malaysia’s hospitality landscape and actively championed the country's tourism efforts by securing opportunities and 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗩𝗠𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲).

The summit had proved to be an invaluable platform for networking and cementing the relationship between the Malaysian and Chinese hospitality sectors. 𝗠𝗔𝗛 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗛𝗟𝗔 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Here is to paving the way for deeper collaboration and shared growth!

About the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH)

Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) is the umbrella body for hotels in Malaysia formed in 1974 and initially established by a group of concerned and dedicated hoteliers to bring about a more dynamic hospitality industry aimed at building a workforce of highly skilled, innovative and disciplined individuals.
